Spinal Fusion Treatments
Spinal stability depends on the combined function of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones that make up the spinal column. When one or more of these components is compromised, the spinal column becomes unstable. In these cases, stability can be provided through spinal fusion. Spinal fusion treatments use bone grafts to join two vertebrae (bones) in the spine so that there is no longer movement between them. Spinal fusion surgery will often provide full or partial relief of symptoms.
