North Shore-LIJ Health System’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is widely recognized for providing outstanding health care to women in the entire range of primary health care, specialty and subspecialty areas. Prevention and early detection are goals sought by emphasizing the importance of regular physical exams, follow-up exams and patient teaching in regard to treatment plans. Services are provided in a collaborative manner by highly trained obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, high risk obstetricians, infertility specialists, gynecologic oncologists, minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgeons, gynecologists, urogynecologists, pelvic reconstructive surgeons, reproductive endocrinologists, other specialty physicians and our excellent team of nursing and support staff who care for and assist our patients.
