The North Shore-LIJ Women’s Health Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine serves pregnant women with obstetrical and/or medical complications. Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physicians are specialists in caring for women during high-risk pregnancies. Their education and training includes advanced knowledge of obstetrical, medical and surgical complications of pregnancy and the effects of these complications on both mother and baby. Our doctors are also trained in the latest diagnostic and treatment methods used in the care of patients with complicated pregnancies.
