Home Care

If you experience any complications during your delivery, your baby has any health problems that make it difficult for you to care for them after discharge or you elect to leave the hospital early, you may be eligible for Home Care Services. Your care manager will visit you during your hospital stay to discuss home care options available to you.

Home care services are also available to patients before they deliver (during the antepartum period), if there is a need.

The OB/GYN case manager is responsible for utilization review and discharge planning. Case management staff communicates with your insurance company on a regular basis in order to notify them of your admission, update them on your status and obtain home care or specialized services or equipment for you upon your discharge.
