Our department has 37 actively practicing board-certified orthopaedic surgeons on staff with expertise in these areas:

• Ankle – Our ankle specialists are experts in treating fractures, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, impingement sprain and tendon disorders.
• Hand – Our hand surgeons deal with problems of the hand, wrist and forearms and, often, the shoulder and elbow.
• Hip – Hip surgeons are experts at diagnosing and treating hip diseases such as osteoarthritis and hip fractures. Treatments include total and partial joint replacement.
• Knee – Knee diseases such as ligament injuries, meniscus (torn cartilage) and miscellaneous knee problems are diagnosed and treated by experienced knee surgeons.Treatments include total and partial joint replacement.
• Orthopaedic Oncology – We provide diagnostic and treatment services for benign and malignant tumors, metastatic disease of the musculoskeletal system and metabolic bone disease.
• Shoulder – Shoulder surgery can help with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, rotator cuff and other types of arthritis. 
• Spine – Our spine surgeons are physicians who receive special training in the diagnosis and treatment of problems with the neck (cervical spine), mid back (thoracic spine) and low back (lumbar spine).

Long Island Expressway  – Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 44 South (Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway/Route 135). Take Route 135 to Old Country Road. Turn left on Old Country Road. Plainview Hospital is approximately ¼ mile down on the left.

Northern State Parkway  – Take the Northern State Parkway to Exit 36A (Route 135 South). Follow above directions to Plainview Hospital.

Southern State Parkway – Take the Southern State Parkway to Exit 28A North (Route 135 North). Take Route 135 to Old Country Road. Turn right off exit. Plainview Hospital is approximately ¼ mile down on the left.
