North Shore-LIJ is proud to announce the opening of Katz Women’s Hospital, a $250 million world-class facility that will be located on our Long Island Jewish Medical Center campus. Katz Women’s Hospital at LIJ Medical Center, set to open in 2012, will be a comprehensive resource for the unique healthcare needs of women in our community…and beyond.
Katz Women’s Hospital was designed to help you take advantage of all of North Shore-LIJ’s specialized women’s services – a quality path of care that includes programs in: perinatal and obstetrics, gynecology, urogynecology, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, infertility and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Through this facility women will also have access to world class subspecialty services including Cardiology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Women’s Wellness and Geriatric medicine.
North Shore-LIJ is committed to women’s health and family-centered care. Our new state-of-the-art facility reflects the heart of that commitment, as well as our dedication to service, comfort and the highest standards of quality and care.
Katz Women’s Hospital at LIJ Medical Center features:
- Single mother and baby rooms
- Each room is equipped with private bathroom and shower (all ADA compliant), wireless internet, rocking chair, flat screen TV and overnight accommodations for significant other. Plus each is designed to provide for emergency equipment and couplet care. Special rooms for our high risk patients are also available.
