Dr. Shah Says Take Charge at the PIX 11 Health and Wellness Expo
New York, NY - Neeta M. Shah, MD FACP, was one of the experts invited by PIX 11 and Dr. Steve Salvatore of the Dr. Steve Show to address Expo attendees. Dr. Shah presented, It’s You Time, Take Charge, encouraging the audience to make life style modifications and understand the importance of early detection and prevention in maintaining a healthy life. Dr Shah shared easy tips and ideas that the audience can do any time during their busy lives.
When asked why Dr. Shah continues to present at programs like the Expo, she replied that “This is what the Katz Institute for Women’s Health is all about. Getting out to the community and sharing information so that people will make better health care choices. The more we reach out to our neighbors with programs like this, the more they will feel empowered and take ownership of their health.”
Over 7,000 people attended the PIX 11 Health and Wellness Expo.
