Dr. Neeta Shah Addresses the Organization of Chinese Americans

Garden City, NY - Neeta M. Shah, MD FACP, vice president, Women’s Health Services at the North Shore-LIJ Health System, presented her program of “It’s Your Time – Take Charge of Your Life” to the LI chapter of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) at Adelphi’s Alumni House. Dr. Shah highlighted the health system latest facts and milestones to this group of 50 men and women. She spoke about healthy lifestyle changes and gender-specific differences in women's health.
Dr. Shah wants the community to know that “Part of our community outreach is to connect with the many diverse organizations and share the message of wellness and the importance of taking care of your self to prevent disease. It was a pleasure presenting to the OAC.”
At the conclusion of her address, Dr. Frank Shih, the Executive Vice President of the OCA-LI remarked: "Thank you for an extremely informative talk and a presentation that was engaging and enlightening. We feel privileged to hear this vital health information packaged so eloquently. We hope you can return to address the other issues that you only had a chance to touch on."
This organization’s mission is to foster cultural heritage as well as advance the well-being of Asian Pacific Americans.
