Dr. Neeta Shah Serves as a Judge for the 2010 Annual AMWA Student Track Conference

Neeta M. Shah, MD FACP was honored to serve as a Judge for the 2010 Annual AMWA Student Track Conference at the American Medical Women's Association Meeting (AMWA) held in Washington, D.C on Friday, March 26, 2010. The AMWA is the only multispecialty organization dedicated to advancing women in medicine and improving women's health. Students from across the nation presented scientific posters which encompassed 

There were a variety of scientific poster presentations from students throughout the nation. The participating students came from a variety of backgrounds and covered a plethora of topics within the realm of medicine and health.

Dr. Shah also participated in the Mentoring Reception of AMWA. This program allows thousands of medical students to come together to benefit from the wealth of knowledge being presented. This program help to mentor and advise female physicians-in-training and students as they navigate through the challenging twists and turns of medicine. Dr. Shah shared with them her helpful wisdom, advice and words of encouragement.
