North Shore-LIJ Joins County Executive Tom Suozzi in Proclaiming Nassau Women’s Health Week and Women’s Checkup Day

The North Shore-LIJ Health System’s Katz Women’s Hospital/Women’s Health Institute and Nassau County government leaders encouraged Nassau women to take charge of their health, by promoting the week of May 10th as Nassau County Women’s Health Week and May 11th as Women’s Checkup Day.
During a recent Legislative session, Presiding Officer Diane Yatauro stated, “Women need to be proactive when it comes to their health, by making and keeping healthcare appointments and following other simple steps that will lead to a longer, healthier life.”
