Fractured tooth

Teeth are remarkably strong but they can fracture or break. Teeth can get fractured by biting down on something hard, being hit in the face or mouth, falling, having cavities, or continually clenching or grinding teeth. Symptoms for fractured teeth vary. Commonly, the first indicator of a fractured tooth is a sharp pain that occurs during biting or chewing. Pain may also occur when eating or drinking something hot or cold.
