Physical, Occupational, Speech and Language Therapy

Home health care physical therapy
Rehabilitation therapists can help you recover following a surgery, injury, illness or accident. If your physician determines that you need rehabilitation services, you may see one or more of the following:

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists work with you to improve your strength, flexibility, range of motion, balance and coordination. They help you to improve your ability to walk, get in and out of bed, self-propel a wheelchair and move across surfaces (e.g. from a wheelchair to a bed). With home physical therapy, you’ll reach goals that you and your home physical therapist have set together.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy services can help you maximize your independence by returning you to dressing, bathing, grooming, eating and handling basic household activities on your own.

Speech Therapy and Language Therapy

Speech therapy and language therapy specialists can help improve your communication skills, including:

  • Word finding, listening, reading comprehension, intonation, speaking clearly, volume and swallowing
  • Improving attention, memory, verbal and visual problem solving
  • Interacting effectively with other people
